As an author and speaker Kim has a heart for caregivers and the disabled community. Her debut book "The Beautiful Destruction of My Life” is available to order now.
She learned first hand the challenges caregivers and loved ones face. She has used her experiences while managing parenting of two teenagers one with Autism, finding caregiving support, health care options and choices, and physical difficulties for persons who are wheelchair bound and unable to communicate to share what caregivers are regularly faced with.
I recently have made a concerted effort to pray for someone when I tell them, "I am praying for you." It's not that I don't mean it when I say I will pray for them. I take the ability to pray for someone earnestly.
